To celebrate the Season 3 premiere of ‘Boardwalk Empire,’ HBO and Uber are partnering to transport New Yorkers back to the Roaring ’20s. As part of their “Take A ride, Boardwalk Empire Style” promotion, the two are providing New Yorkers with free rides today and tomorrow in vintage vehicles on the streets of Manhattan.

New Yorkers can use the unique on demand platform of Uber, a private driving company, to request of of the classic cars and ride in 1920s style to their destination. New Yorkers can download the Android or iPhone app, set their destination and select the vintage ride option they want. They can be chauffeured in a vintage Packard, Cadillac or Rolls Royce within Midtown and SoHo.

The cars will feature period costumed drivers. Once inside the car, riders can view ‘Boardwalk Empire’ season recaps and trailers for the upcoming season, which premieres Sunday at 9pm on HBO, on an iPad.
