The film “The Shift” stars Danny Glover in a tense hospital drama about a nurse dealing with the worst night of his life. The film also stars Leonel Oliva, Casey Fitzgerald, Danny Glover, Genesis Ochoa,. Brad Benedict, Stelio Savante and Jeremy Mitchell and directed by Lee Cipolla and produced by Mitchell and Melanie DiPietro and executive produced by Oliva. “The Shift” was filmed in Los Angeles in 2012.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:

“THE SHIFT Synopsis: A jaded nurse struggles to train an idealistic new grad, care for a suffering little girl asking for peace, and deal with the haunting memories of his younger brother’s drowning on what turns out to be the worst 12 hours of his life.”

Since all of us have had to deal with hospitals (and jaded nurses), I think this film will be one tons of people can relate to. I think we can also identify with the story of a person reconnecting with their humanity. Below is the first look of Glover in the film. After viewing it, I think it’s going to be a gripping and highly emotional film. “The Shift” is set to come out April 5. What do you think about the film?
