I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Ernest Borgnine. I certainly do and I was certainly sad to hear about his passing in 2012. If you’re a big fan and want to see Borgnine’s final work, make sure to check out Indican Pictures’ “The Man Who Shook The Hand Of Vicente Fernández.”

The film also stars Barry Corbin, Carla Ortiz, Dale Dickey and Tony Plana. Shaun Hill of Indican Pictures said nothing but nice things about Borgnine. “We loved this delightful comedy. Borgnine is hilarious and the entire cast deliver’s poignant moments throughout,” said Shaun Hill, of Indican Pictures. “It’s a heroic performance by Borgnine and thoroughly enjoyable.”

Here’s what you can expect from “The Man Who Shook The Hand Of Vicente Fernández”:

“This humorous tale follows Rex Page (Borgnine) a stubborn man who becomes the hero of his nursing home upon leading the Latino staff in a revolt against the tyrannical owner.”
