The upcoming drama ‘The Company You Keep’ has launched its official website and released new stills, in anticipation of its April 5 theatrical release. The film, which will be distributed by Sony Pictures Classics, was directed by Robert Redford. It stars Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Terrence Howard, Richard Jenkins, Anna Kendrick, Brit Marling, Stanley Tucci, Nick Nolte, Chris Cooper and Susan Sarandon.

‘The Company You Keep’ follows Jim Grant (Redford), a public interest lawyer and single father raising his daughter in the suburbs of Albany, New York. His world is turned upside down after a young reporter, Ben Shepard (LaBeouf), exposes his true identity as a former 1970s antiwar radical fugitive wanted for murder. After living underground for more than 30 years, Grant must go on the run, with the FBI on his pursuit.

Knowing the significance of the national news story he has exposed, and the opportunity for his career, Shepard is willing to stop at nothing to capitalize on it. The journalist digs into the lawyer’s past, and tracks Grant across the country, despite warnings from his editor and threats from the FBI.

As Grant reconnects with former members of his antiwar group, the Weather Underground, Shepard realizes something about the lawyer doesn’t add up. With the FBI closing in, Shepard uncovers the shocking secrets Grant has been keeping for the past three decades.
