March is just about winding down and you know what that means; the Tribeca Film Festival is right around the corner! Shockya.com will be on the ground in New York City when the festival kicks off on April 17th, but we’ve got the pleasure of beginning our TFF 2013 coverage early with an exclusive animated photo from the documentary “Kiss The Water.”

Director Eric Steel takes us to the far northern highlands of Scotland where the internationally renowned Megan Boyd crafted fishing flies for local and high profile clientele including Prince Charles, work that was also worthy of collectors’ eyes and installations in museums. Through interviews, animations, and images of the Scotland countryside, Steel offers up a sense of what it was like honing such a craft and functioning as a solitary celebrity.

Not into fishing? Need proof that fishing fly-making is an art? Check out this gorgeous design by Em Cooper below and catch “Kiss The Water” in full when it debuts at the festival next month. Click here to take a look at the film’s complete screening schedule.
