‘American Pie’ actress Tara Reid has spoofed ‘The Hunger Games’ character Effie Trinket who is played by Elizabeth Banks in the Suzanne Collins adaption. Reid released photos of herself dressed up as the eccentric escort of District 12. Reid donned the fluffy peach colored wig with bright colored make-up, right down to the bright pink dress and flower. The actress was outfitted as Trinket for her role in a Jamie Kennedy comedy picture. Details surrounding the film are unclear at this point, but according to Reid the project is currently in the works. She had previously revealed its existence during an interview with OK!Magazine where she spoke about a cameo appearance in a ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ spoof called ‘The Hungover Games’.
The 37-year-old released the picture with few details on her Twitter account on Tuesday. “Today at work shooting my new untitled film produced by Jamie Kennedy its gonna be super cool!” She later added her plans to travel to London. “Anyway good night everyone I have an [early] call time so I’m going to bed! The next day on my way to italy for cipriani’s [wedding] then London.” A trio of Real Housewives cast members are also said to be a part of the spoof.
