The Esquire Network is looking to gain the interest of sophisticated male viewers by acquiring shows like “Psych,” “Burn Notice” and new show “American Field Trip,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the website, the network wants to entertain their magazine audience, the “evolved man,” with repeats of popular shows such as the aforementioned mystery and action shows along with repeats of comedies “Party Down” and “Parks and Recreation.”

Some of the new offerings coming to the network includes “American Field Trip,” starring photojournalist Matt Hranek as he finds off-the-beaten-path spots and intriguing people. Other new shows include high-octane cooking competition “Knife Fight” and travel show “The Getaway.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Esquire Network has been pitched as a station to fill the void for the sophisticated male, who have been left out of the male demographic catered to by Spike and History.
