The new documentary ‘The Director,’ which was helmed by Christina Vorosand produced by James Franco, has released its official poster for this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. The film is set to have its world premiering at festival on April 21 at New York City’s School of Visual Arts.

‘The Director’ offers an intimate portrait of Gucci’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini. Set in three acts, the film spans 18 months behind the walls of the iconic Italian fashion house, and explores the intricacies and inspiration behind the power woman. Giannini’s evolution as the creative force behind the brand is as nuanced as that of the storied fashion house itself. The creative director will be shown as she carries forward the legacy of the fashion house into the future.
