Tonight’s the night. Paramount is due to kick things off here at Caesars Palace for CinemaCon with a presentation featuring its 2013 lineup followed by a screening of Michael Bay’s “Pain & Gain.” But before we bring you the goods on that, how about a tour through the halls of the event? We shared a number of brand new posters making their big debut right here at Caesars yesterday, but still have a ton more to show off. We’ve got images of the movie-decorated escalators, a bunch of CinemaCon banners, and a slew of movie posters and standees on display.
Of the bunch, my personal favorite is the poster for “The Purge” covering an elevator door because isn’t that exactly what you want to see before stepping inside? There’s also a cute display for Relativity Media’s animated movie “Free Birds,” which is a bird buddy comedy in which two turkeys have to put their differences aside to team up and get themselves off the holiday menu once and for all.
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” boasts a particularly nice display with every single character poster illuminated side-by-side, lining the hall. The poster for “Ender’s Game” also pops courtesy of a light box showcase, as does the unnerving design for the Brit Marling, Alexander Skarsgård, and Ellen Page-starrer, “The East.” There’s also a number of banners hanging high worth highlighting. We’ve got images of a design for “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “Iron Man 3,” “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” and more.
