We’ve got a new poster for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” on the scene at CinemaCon. It’s still got the landscape from the original design, but this one adds a far large display of the film’s logo, the angelic power rune.

The story hones in on the film’s tagline, “There is a world hidden within our own,” but Clary (Lily Collins) isn’t aware of that world until she witnesses a murder at a crowded nightclub. After her mother (Lena Headey) is kidnapped, the line between our world and theirs blurs further when Clary faces a demon in her own apartment. Fortunately, the murderer from the nightclub, Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower), comes to her rescue and explains that he didn’t commit the crime in cold blood. He’s a Shadowhunter and tasked with keeping the demons at bay.

Catch “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” when it arrives in theaters on August 23, 2013 and check out the film’s new CinemaCon poster below.
