James Franco and Jason Statham are two people I bet you never imagined would be in a film together. But, you can expect to see them playing opposite each other in the upcoming film, “Homefront.”
The film, which also stars Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth and Frank Grillo, was also written and co-produced by Sylvester Stallone, so his involvement–as well as Statham’s–lets you know that you’re going to be getting tons of awesome action worth of a popcorn film. Other producers working with Stallone include Kevin King Templeton and John Thompson. The film is directed by Gary Fleder.
“Homefront” is surely an action film, but at the heart of the story is a father trying to do right by his daughter. Here’s more on “Homefront.”
