“Game of Thrones” actor Peter Dinklage seems to be one of those actors that everyone loves. I don’t think I’ve heard a bad thing about this guy, and I think the goodwill will continue now that he’s going to be the lead in a new comedy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dinklage is set to star in a currently unnamed comedy penned by “Bad Words” writer Andrew Dodge. The film has been said to be in the R-rated territory and will feature Dinklage’s character, who tricks people by telling them that he’s a real life leprechaun. Even though there will be tons of adult humor, the film is set to be centered around a story with some real heart.

If you need a little bit of a guideline as to what you can expect from this film, The Hollywood Reporter states that the film has been said to be in the vein of “Bad Santa.” This is not outside of Dodge’s wheelhouse; “Bad Words,” which stars Jason Bateman, features cursing children who happen to be competing in a spelling bee.

I would think that this film’s got a good chance. I mean, Dinklage’s star power and fanbase alone will put butts in seats. What do you think about the film? Give your opinions below.
