Everyone’s favorite naughty-and-nice grandmother, Madea, is coming to town with Santa Claus, with the release of the final poster for the upcoming holiday comedy, ‘Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas.’ The film’s distributor, Lionsgate, has not only released the poster, but also a new 60 second trailer, showing the title character being coaxed into helping a friend surprise her daughter for Christmas.
Lionsgate is set to release ‘Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas’ in theaters on December 13. The comedy stars Perry, who also wrote, produced and directed the film, as well as Chad Michael Murray, Kathy Najimy Anna Maria Horsford, Tika Sumpter, Eric Lively, JR Lemon, Alicia Witt, Lisa Whelchel and Larry the Cable Guy.
The distribution company has released the following synopsis for ‘Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas’:
Madea gets coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas, but the biggest surprise is what they’ll find when they arrive. As the small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Jubilee, new secrets are revealed and old relationships are tested while Madea dishes her own brand of Christmas Spirit to all.
