Sexual tension is increasing with two new teaser posters from writer-director Lars von Trier’s upcoming drama, ‘Nymphomaniac.’ One of the posters features a collection of the previously released orgasmic character posters of several of the film’s actors, including Charlotte Gainsbourg, Shia LaBeouf, Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman and Willem Dafoe. The other teaser features a close-up of the picture of the movie’s main star, Gainsbourg, from the first poster.
‘Nymphomaniac’ tells the sexual odyssey of self-professed sex addict the story is about Joe’s (Gainsbourg) hidden erotic desires, and spans her life story from a young age to age 50. Since her girlhood, Joe has been drawn to casual sex. Seligman (Skarsgard) is a Good Samaritan who takes Joe in after finding her brutalized in the street. She recounts her erotic experiences to him, including how Jerome (LaBeouf) was asked if he would her of her virginity. Joe also remembers how Mrs. H (Thurman), a wife and mother, was crushed when Joe slept with her husband, Mr. H (Hugo Speer).
Magnolia Pictures will released ‘Nymphomaniac’ in early 2014. Check out the two new teaser posters, as well as several scenes from the film, below.
