A new dawn is rising with the new Caesar poster, as well as three additional ape posters, for the upcoming ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.’ The new posters have been released by the anticipated science-fiction film’s distributor, 20th Century Fox. The Caesar poster features a close-up shot of the ape species’ leader. Meanwhile, the additional posters include a new look at three more apes that are ready for war.

‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,’ the anticipated sequel to the 2011 hit ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes,’ has also received a new release date of July 11, 2014. The action-adventure film, which was directed by ‘Cloverfield’ helmer Matt Reeves, stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Judy Greer, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-Mcphee, Enrique Muriciano and Kirk Acevedo.

20th Century Fox has released the following official synopsis for ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
