Be prepared to see ‘Holy Ghost People’ when XLrator Media releases the thriller on April 8 on DVD. The drama has also released a trailer and photos, so audiences can uncover the truth behind the wild world of Appalachian snake-handling churches.

The thriller is a Southern Gothic thriller about a teenager searching for her lost sister in the Appalachian Mountains. During her search, she encounters a snake-handling religious cult and eventually learns the truth about her sister’s fate.

Mitchell Altieri, the co-writer and director of ‘The Hamiltons’ and ‘The Thompsons,’ returns to the thriller genre with the release of ‘Holy Ghost People.’ He reunited with his ‘The Hamiltons’ co-scribe, Joe Egender, and Phil Flores, who co-wrote ‘The Hamiltons’ and ‘The Thompsons,’ for their latest release. The new film stars Emma Greenwell, Brendan McCarthy, Egender and Cameron Richardson.
