Nowadays, reality television has become mostly about women fighting each other. Long gone are the days when reality shows were fun experiments that sometimes had a darker underlying critique of society as a whole. Or are they? Fox seems to have gotten a lock on the weird societal experiment-types of reality shows; first with “Joe Millionaire” and now with the upcoming “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry.'”

I think you can guess the premise just from the title alone. A large amount of women are vying for the chance to marry someone they think is Prince Harry. The “prince” is a Prince Harry lookalike, but one has to wonder if the women involved in this show can’t put two and two together enough to realize that this isn’t the actual Prince Harry. Who would believe that Prince Harry has to go on an American reality show to find a wife?

Anyway, at the end of the series, the women find out that their prince isn’t Prince Harry, but some dude. The strange premise for this show might sound a little similar; the show is from the same people that created “Joe Millionaire,” a show that featured women wanting to marry a millionaire who wasn’t actually a millionaire.

Anyways, if you’re wondering what this crazy show will be about, take a look at the promo below. If you’re ready for some amazingly insane summer entertainment, “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry'” May 27 at 8 p.m.
