The excitement for “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” is real. If you’re basically beside yourself with glee at the prospect of this film coming to theaters, watching these special IGN commentary videos will not help at all. But still, you need to watch them.

The videos feature commentary from Toby Kebbell, who plays Koba in the film. Kebbell discusses two scenes, “Apes Don’t Want War” and “Koba Kills” and what went into creating the scenes. Check out the clips below and see what you think!

“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” stars Andy Serkis and Kebbell as Caesar, the leader of the new ape world, and Koba, Caesar’s right hand man, respectfully. The film follows the ape society as they try to coexist alongside the remaining human populace, the last vestiges of the original world order that had been ravaged by the Simian Flu. “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” has been charming critics left and right; you can read some of what they had to say by clicking here.
