Sure, we might be into the first days of fall, but at Raging Waters San Dimas, there’s still one more weekend of summer! The water park has extended its summer season to one last weekend, Oct. 4 and Oct. 5. The reason for the extension–there’s going to be a major heat wave this weekend with temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees in certain areas, so the park wants to keep everyone cool.

This will be the first time in the water park’s history that it will be open in October, meaning that Raging Waters San Dimas is the only water park expected to operate this weekend in Southern California.

With over one million gallons of water that simulate real wave actions, guests can either play it safe by sitting in the shallow end or get extreme by riding the waves. Kids can have fun at the Kids’ Kingdom, Splash Island Adventure and Volcano Fantasea, while the whole family can enjoy the varying degrees of thrill seeking that can be found at the parks’ other rides.

Raging Waters will be open Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets are $24.99 when purchased through the park’s website. Or, you could save $10 and have fun this weekend for free when you purchase a 2015 Season Pass.
