“Terminator Genisys” is, admittedly, a long way away. The film, which brings Arnold Schwarzenegger back to the “Terminator” franchise, is coming to theaters July 1, 2015. But even though July is all the way into next year, the hype is already in full swing! The official beginning of the “Terminator” hype starts with the release of the film’s brand new motion poster.

The poster, which you can look at below, features the classic Terminator skull with the glowing eyes. But it deteriorates in front of our eyes. What does this mean? There are probably some “Terminator” fans that have their theories and reasons as to what this visual represents. If you have your own theory, write about it in the comments section!

“Terminator Genisys” is directed by Alan Taylor from a script by Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis. Of course, the film takes us back to the franchise that gave us the classic phrase, “I’ll be back.” In fact, the official hashtag for the film is #HeIsBack. Along with Schwarzenegger coming back to the franchise, “Terminator Genisys” stars Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Jason Clarke, Byung-Hun Lee and JK Simmons. You can follow the film on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
