“Project Almanac” looks to get teenagers in on the allure of time travel films like “Primer.” The fact that it could be labeled as “Primer” for kids could be a good thing or a bad thing (if we’re judging on some of the sci-fi fans that are out there), but if there’s something the clips make an effort to show is that “Project Almanac” is hoping to be true to as scary and mind-bending as the time travel genre can be.

Take a look at the clips below to see what you think about the film. “Step In” and “That’s Me” give a look at how this film could be a lot deeper than what it appears to be on the surface.

If you could redo something in your life, what would it be? “Project Almanac” is asking you for your answers! Leave them at the film’s website and your Redo could be plastered on billboards and theater screens across the nation!

“Project Almanac” is directed by Dean Israelite and written by Jason Harry Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. The film stars Jonny Weston, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista and Ginny Gardner. The film focuses on a student and his friends who find blueprints for a time machine. At first, the machine is cool, since they go back in time and reverse embarrassing moments, win the lottery and make better lives for themselves. But eventually, things go drastically wrong, putting everyone in danger. The film will come to theaters Jan. 30.
