SpongeBob SquarePants has always been a cartoon that had funny moments for both adults and children, and “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” continues that subversive tradition with the three new poster spoofs. The spoofs put SpongeBob in the posters of “Jurassic World,” “Terminator: Genisys” and even “Fifty Shades of Grey.” I don’t know about you, but I’d be curious/scared to see how a “Fifty Shads of SpongeBob” movie would look.

All of these posters are exceptional in mimicking the original poster art, and putting SpongeBob in these scenarios makes these some of my favorite posters of 2015 so far. The posters are so good that I would love to see some TV specials made around these spoofs. Of course, It’ll be really interesting/scary to see how a “Fifty Shades of SpongeBob” spoof would play out. Take a look at the posters below the post and write what you think about the posters in the comments section below!

“The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” puts SpongeBob (voiced by Tom Kenny) and his friends on land to save us land-faring beings from the evils of Burger-Beard (Antonio Banderas). As the official synopsis states, this will be “his most super-heroic adventure yet.” The film also features the voices of Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, Rodger Bumpass, and Bill Fagerbakke. The film will be in theaters Feb. 6, 2015.
