The Gladers are facing their greatest challenge yet, as they search for clues about the mysterious organization known as WCKD, in the highly anticipated first trailer for the upcoming film, ‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.’ The action-adventure’s distributor, 20th Century Fox, debuted the clip for the next chapter of the epic ‘Maze Runner’ saga, which it will release in theaters on September 18, 2015.

Nowlin, who based the story on Dashner’s 2010 novel, ‘The Scorch Trials,’ the second book in ‘The Maze Runner’ book trilogy.

The second installment in the film series sees the return of several actors from its predecessor, including Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Patricia Clarkson. New additions to the cast include Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Barry Pepper and Lili Taylor.
