With the recent and unexpected death of Prince last Thursday, Hologram USA CEO Alki David was asked if Hologram USA would be interested in paying tribute to the Purple One. David replied to The Wrap’s question about the tribute:

“We are mourning the loss of Prince along with his millions of fans. If at some point in the future his estate and the fans feel a hologram performance would be a fitting tribute, we’d be honored to celebrate the Sexy Motherf***er in every way,” CEO Alki David said in a statement.

Over the years, Hologram USA has been building up their catalog for musical acts to take on the road as a hologram with big name recording artists, such as Whitney Houston, Dean Martin, Biggie Smalls, and Redd Foxx. The company is also responsible for the iconic Tupac hologram that “performed” at the Coachella Music Festival with Snoop Dogg in 2012.
