Iconic singer and actress Judy Garland died at age 47 in 1969, but that won’t stop her from performing at a theater near you in 2017. Hologram USA — the same company that brought Whitney Houston, Redd Foxx, and Dean Martin back to life — will take Judy garland on the road with new world tour in 2017, in a partnership with Royal Rainbow Productions, FilmOn TV, and the Garland estate.

“Every show is a little different,” Alki David, Hologram USA CEO, explained. “We have different technologies other than just the projections, certain novel animation techniques, voice modulations, things like that that sort of make the projection really as spectacular as possible.” He continues, “They will see a real life Judy Garland onstage performing her life story, her trials and tribulations, her greatest songs, and it will be a celebration of her life in a very entertaining, witty, musical.”

The on-stage performance will be mostly taken from iconic and memorable moments from “The Judy Garland Show,” which aired on CBS from 1963 to 1964. “It will be a one-hour attraction in the style of a Broadway show,” David explains. “There will be a lot of narrative and a lot of music.”

While the dates for the world tour have yet to be announced, stay tuned to ShockYa.com for more info as the story develops.
