Tyler Perry is once again enjoying the experience of disguising himself as different characters, but this time it’s in the name of celebrating Halloween. The actor’s latest Madea movie, ‘Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween,’ shows his title character preparing for the scary holiday, as the project debuts on home entertainment. The comedy-drama will be released tomorrow on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD, Digital HD and On Demand by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. To celebrate the unveiling of the film on home entertainment, Shockya is premiering an exclusive clip, titled ‘Tyler’s Multiple Characters.’
In addition to reprising his title role, Perry also wrote, directed and produced the comedy-drama. ‘Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween’ also features appearances by Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Yousef Erakat, Liza Koshy, Bella Thorne, Diamond White, Tyga, Lexy Panterra, J.C. Caylen and Jimmy Tatro.
In ‘Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween,’ the actor returns as Madea, who’s summoned to keep a watchful eye on her nephew Brian’s teenage daughter, and keep her out of trouble. Little does Madea know, the trouble is coming for her. Fortunately, or not, she has her posse of Bam (Davis), Hattie (Lovely) and Joe to shield off ghosts and killer clowns. In addition to once again playing Madea, Perry also reprises his roles of her brother, Joe, and Brian.
‘Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween’ home entertainment release includes bonus material, including the ‘Why We Love Madea!’ featurette and the ‘Boo! From the Crew’ montage. The movie will be available on Blu-ray and DVD for $39.99 and $29.95, respectively.
