New Line Cinema recently released an extended-length and even more terrifying trailer for the remake of Stephen King’s horror classic ‘IT’ by director Andrés Muschietti who is perhaps best known for his work on the 2013 horror film ‘Mama’ from executive producer Guillermo del Toro.

“IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”) and Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”).

Here’s an interesting fact about the Pennywise character from ‘It’:

In the Dark Tower novel, Stephen King explains that Pennywise has the same shape-shifting ability as his character Dandelo. It is widely rumored that Dandelo could have been a child of Pennywise.
