A few months ago, A24 released a teaser trailer for “The Disaster Artist,” just so audiences get a taste of the movie based on the making of the infamous “The Room.”
And while it was captivating and attention-grabbing, the official movie trailer is just flat out amazing! We get a much better sense of the movie itself with James Franco playing Tommy Wiseau. Watch the new trailer above:
The film depicts the meeting and early friendship of the actor Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau, the actor, writer and director behind the 2003 cult film The Room, a film often hailed as the Citizen Kane of bad movies, the troubled making of it and their respective careers after the surprising success of the film.
The new movie stars James Franco, Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Josh Hutcherson, Zac Efron, Hannibal Buress, Melanie Griffith, Sharon Stone, and Jacki Weaver.
“The Disaster Artist” hits theaters on December 1.
