Setting out to capture one of the world’s most notorious terrorists is an amicable goal for international government leaders. But when a group of patients decide to break out of their mental hospital to track down a radical who’s actually already been dead for over half a decade isn’t the most intelligent idea. But the group is putting in a last-ditch effort to garner the fame one of its members so greatly desires, no matter how absurd their plan may seem to everyone else, in the upcoming comedy, ‘Crazy Famous.’

The movie is set to be distributed on VOD, Digital HD and DVD this Tuesday, January 9, by Gravitas Ventures. In honor of ‘Crazy Famous’ release, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the film, which is titled ‘That Was Not Smart.’ The clip follows actor Gregory Lay’s protagonist, Bob, and his fellow patients as they’re on the run from the police, after they break out of their institution. They also debate over the fact that stealing weapons, in order to help in their search for Bin Laden, may not have bee their wisest decision.

‘Crazy Famous’ was directed by Paul Jarrett, and written by Bob Farkas. In addition to Lay, the movie also stars Richard Short, Ajay Naidu and Catherine Curtin. The film follows Bob, an average Joe, as his obsession to be famous lands him in a mental hospital. When a patient claims Bin Laden is still alive, Bob escapes with a band of misfits in a last-ditch effort to get Bin Laden and the fame he so deeply desires.
