Title: My Super Psycho Sweet 16

Directed by: Jed Elinoff (The Signal) and Scott Thomas

Starring: Juliana Guill (”Friday The 13th”), Lauren Mcknight (”House of Fear”), Chris Zylka (”Cougartown”) and Matt Angel (”Raising The Bar”).

MTV kicks-off Halloween a little early with the premiere of the original slasher movie “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ airing October 23, at 10p.m. ET/PT.

The film tells the story of Madison Penrose (Juliana Guill), a spoiled and beautiful high school queen bee, and Skye Rotter (Lauren McKnight), the class outcast whose father Charlie Rotter committed a series of grisly murders a decade before the movie’s events. Madison’s plans for the ultimate birthday bash are ruined when Skye shows up to get closer to Madison’s ex-boyfriend Brigg (Chris Zylka), but things get really psycho when Charlie returns to crash the party too.

“My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ is a perfect teen scream date movie, complete with a well paced story, fancy music-video-style cinematography, pretty decent acting and a fair amount of gore. Although the film initially appeared to be written for a younger crowd, it’s chocked full of violent merciless killings including one strangulation, multiple stabbings, a vicious bloody bashing and a very cool beheading.

The film is as fluffy as “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, and as violent as “My Bloody Valentine”… “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ definitely rocked!

“My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ airs Thursday, October 23, at 10p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Click Here to watch the official movie trailer.

lol saw this last night, very gory, like too gory for tv, but i liked it, the weirdest part is when that jousting stick thing come out of that one dude’s mouth, but for some reason i don’s remeber the beheading.

  3. John Says:

Saw a screener of this movie, didn’t catch it on TV. Wonder if the beheading was cut out of the TV version? Any one else not see it?

  4. emi Says:

The beheading of the birthday girl’s friend? That was deffinately in there.
I was surprised, it was pretty gory. Like shit the way her arms were all limp while she was still rolling… That part creeped me out lol.

  5. bianca Says:

i thought the ending was wackk
and it wasn’t all that scaryy

  6. Nolee Says:

I didnt really get the ending like what did it mean. His dream and then the picture?

  7. mia Says:

i saw the beheading, and i recorded it on mtv.

it was poorly directed, in my opinion.

  8. Lola Says:

I thought It was really good for a MTV movie. It was gory which wasnt what I expected. Some good killing.

  9. bree Says:

it was a decent movie. the ending was hot! the way skye drove away in the Porsche and let madison get killed…omg it was THE classic ending to a movie!

I loved this movie xD my favorite part was when she drove away in the car after letting madison get killed haaa

  13. Chris Says:

Good, movie, little slow-paced in the beginning (except for intro). All in all I liked it, Lauren McKnight is my new celebrity crush

  14. Pete Says:

What happened to Brigg in the hospital at the end?

  15. Claudia Says:

LOVE the movie…. i like the part where the girl scratches the car and sits in front of it and it starts. I couldnt believe it when the girl got her head cut off then everyone ran and one guy fell off the stairs with his skates. Her body was still moving. And the b-day girls dad left her. Madison was so dumb the girl with no head fell on her cake and she screamed my cake. Madison didnt even take the fact that she was going to die seriously. OMG love it

  16. Sarah Says:

Does anyone know the name of the song that plays while madison is walking down the halls of her school passing out her birthday invites?

  17. Matt Says:

Probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen.

  18. Dustin Says:

I watched the movie twice and it is a great movie in my opnion. The killing was pretty good, especially the beheading and beating the girl’s head in with the fire extinguisher. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to know what was with the picture at the end of the movie.

  19. CJ Says:

The ending song was “Miss Murder” by AFI…… Watched it 6 times. LOVED IT

  20. DUDE Says:

This was an awesome movie. Though I am real curious what happened to Skye. The nurse did say nobody’s seen her.

  21. darci Says:

I loved this movie…such a good premise for a slasher film (who wouldn’t want to see these spoiled brats get cut up?), and they did a good job of keeping it short, sweet and action-packed. Lots of gore, too for a TV movie!

Also, I really liked the soundtrack, lots of good tunes, especially “Put the Candle Back” by Electric Owls (that’s the song playing while Madison, Olivia and Chloe get ready for the party)

  22. BeKkA!! Says:

OMG! this movie was so rad adn the ending was all cool cuz skye jsut let madison die! how crazy was that?

What do you have to say?
