Taylor Lautner has won the lawsuit he brought against the California company McMahon’s RV, US Magazine is reporting. The 18-year-old “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ star was awarded $40,000 in a settlement, it was revealed on September 3, for a breach of contract. Lautner filed the suit against Brent McMahon for not delivering a $300,000 trailer to the Pittsburgh set of his latest movie, ‘Abduction.’
In the suit, Lautner cited “emotional distress,” and sought damages from McMahon’s dealership. While rumors began swirling after he filed the suit that he was having a “diva moment,” US also reported that Lautner never ordered a customized RV; he just wanted simple repairs on a used RV. His lawyer issued a statement, saying Lautner wanted a safe, drivable RV, “as every purchaser has the right to expect.”
Launter will reportedly donate the money he won to one of his favorite charities, the Lollipop Theatre Network. The charity’s mission is to entertain critically ill children and their families while they’re in the hospital.
