We’re kicking things off with a little James Wan. The sequel to his 2011 haunted house hit, “Insidious,” isn’t due out until September 13, 2013, but the film’s very first teaser poster is already peppering the halls of Caesars Palace. The official first stills from the upcoming horror mystery thriller ‘Virginia Obscura’ have been reveled by its writer-director, Toby Osborne, and producers, Day of the Muerto. The film, which recently wrapped principal photography, is currently in post-production. ‘Virginia Obscura’ features such feature horror stars as Matt Mitler, Thomas Kovacs, Linnea Quigley, Jessica Cameron and Christopher Marrone, as well as new actors Jennie Brown and Ed Conrade. The movie, which was shot on location in new York, Los Angeles and Atlanta, is primarily set on a 100-year old farmhouse in Ontario, Canada, during the middle of winter. Dark Sky Films sent us the first official teaser poster for the upcoming horror movie “Hatchet III” in anticipation of this Saturday’s (April 13th) Monsterpalooza panel, where they will be presenting a special panel “THE FX OF THE HATCHET SERIES.” The cast of HATCHET III will be appearing on stage at 1:00pm.
