Liam Hemsworth (“Knowing”, the upcoming “The Last Song”) has been cast in the upcoming “Arabian Nights” from director Chuck Russell and Inferno Entertainment.

Written by Russell and Barry P. Ambrose, the 3D action-adventure epic is about a young military commander (played by Hemsworth) who, after his king is murdered in a bloody and evil coup d’etat, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue the Queen Scheherazade.

Inferno Entertainment’s Bill Johnson, Mark Ciardi, Gordon Gray of Mayhem Pictures, and ROAR are all onboard as producers for the project.

“Arabian Nights” is slated to start production and filming at the end of summer 2010.
