Ever think about giving cave diving a shot? Well, whether or not you’ve actually considered dabbling in this extremely dangerous sport, one of this weekend’s new releases, Sanctum, will make you very happy to be on stable ground, safe and sound. The James Cameron-produced film follows an exploring team that ventures deep down into the Esa’ala Caves to take a look at a never-before-seen system of tunnels leading out to the sea. Trouble comes in the form of a violent storm that pummels the area, trapping the divers inside, leaving them no choice but to find that way out.
So, if cave diving doesn’t sound like it’s your thing, at least you can look the part. The good folks over at Universal Pictures have sent over a package of Sanctum goodies to give to one lucky Shockya reader. There’s a Sanctum poster, baseball hat, t-shirt and mini penlight. Okay, so most of the gear isn’t really cave diving-appropriate, but at least you can seem like you’re really into it.
