People Online has an interview “American Idol” host/radio personality Ryan Seacrest did with “Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez about the “Idol” judges save last Wednesday, which saved contestant Casey Abrams from the will of America to send him home.

Lopez said on Seacret’s radio show that she knew the decision to save Abrams would be seen as “radical”. “It was crazy. And we knew that it was kind of a radical decision because it was so early in the season,” she said.

She also went on to say that she’s doubted other decisions she and her fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler have made on the show, but all doubts evaporated when they decided on saving Abrams from elimination. “To be quite honest, there’s been decisions that we’ve made or that I thought about and I’ve made and I’ve pushed for that I thought, ‘Oh God, did we do the right thing?…But that’s one decision that I have not lost one ounce of sleep over.”

Now that the save is over, however, two contestants are going home this week, so performances tonight (Elton John Night) are critical.

“American Idol” comes on every Wednesday and Thursday at 8/7 c on FOX. Sound off below about what you think about the judges’ save.
