Director Richard Raaphorst is raising scares in two new photos from his upcoming horror action film, ‘Frankenstein’s Army.’ The new stills from the highly anticipated movie were released by Dark Sky Films to celebrate the film’s world premiere. The movie will be featured in the filmmaker’s homeland on Saturday at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in the Netherlands.

The first photo from ‘Frankenstein’s Army’ features a Machete Zombot in the corpse cooler. The second still features Vicktor, played by Karel Roden, in his laboratory, a Machete Worker Zombot standing sentry.

‘Frankenstein’s Army’ also stars Alexander Mercury, Joshua Sasse, Luke Newberry, Andrei Zayat, Mark Stevenson and Hon Ping Tang. Cristina Catalina, Robert Gwylim and Jan De Lukovicz also co-star in the MPI/Dark Sky Films-XYZ Films-Pellicola of Amsterdam production.

The action horror film, set at the end of World War II, follows Russian soldiers who push into Eastern Germany. They stumble across a secret Nazi lab, and begin experimenting with the journal of Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. The scientists have used his work to assemble an army of super-soldiers that were stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades. The experiments were Hitler’s last desperate ploy to escape defeat.
