Enter the fantasy world of the upcoming ‘Dragon Warriors,’ with the first trailer and poster from the James Marsters-starring film. The former ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ actor portrays the movie’s lead villain, Lord Tensley, who seeks the hand of the beautiful princess, Lady Ennogarad (Kaitlin Doubleday), in the promotional video and poster from the fantasy film.

‘Dragon Warriors,’ which also stars Adam Johnson, Maclain Nelson and Luke Perry, was written and directed by Nelson and Stephen Shimek. The two fillmmakers didn’t have the large budget that Peter Jackson had on his ‘Lord of the Rings’ series, which influenced the fantasy comedy. So the scribes and helmers shot the movie on green screen, and recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to help pay for additional post-production costs. The campaign for the movie, which is being produced by Redline Entertainment and Main Dog Productions, ends on May 19.

Redline Entertainment and Main Dog Productions have released the following synopsis for ‘Dragon Warriors’ below.

When the powerful wizard Lord Tensley (Marsters) is jilted by Princess Ennogard (Doubleday), he vows to rid the land of love. He commands his fire-breathing dragon to destroy any sign of affection seen throughout the kingdom. As the death toll rises, Camilan (Nelson), a brave but arrogant warrior seeks to marry his true love, Larec (Clare Niederpruem), despite the curse upon the land. In order to fulfill his destiny, he must seek the help of his estranged brother, Ramicus (Adam Johnson), a bounty hunter with no desire to tangle with the evil Lord Tensley and his deadly dragon. However, an enchanted distress message and the promise of a great reward from the beautiful Princess Ennogard is enough to lure Ramicus to join the quest to defeat the wizard and his terrible beast.
