Ancient Egypt. High-stakes adventure. Intrigue. Drama. Sorcery. Tons of people love all of these elements individually, but to have everything in one show is something that seems like a dream come true. We’ll soon get to see how all of these elements play together when Hieroglyph airs on Fox in 2015, but if you’re already excited for the show, you’ll be even more pumped after seeing this first look image.

The Hollywood Reporter posted the image exclusively on their site, much to the delight of all us already-hardcore fans. The image gives just a tantalizing glimpse as to how awesome the show could be. Let’s hope it lives up to the steadily-increasing hype.

“Hieroglyph” comes from the mind of creator and executive producer Travis Beacham, who’s also behind “Pacific Rim” and “Clash of the Titans.” The show stars Max Brown, Condola Rashad, Reece Ritchie, Caroline Ford, John Rhys-Davies and Kelsey Chow and features a winding story about a thief that gets caught up in the drama surrounding an ancient Egyptian monarchy.
