Jennifer Lawrence has tons of fans for playing Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games” and is Hollywood’s starlet darling. Now, she’s a Guinness World Record holder!

The actress was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-grossing action heroine ever. The film itself, according to Movie Pilot, will also get recognized. “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is going down as the highest-grossing post-apocalyptic movie.

It seems like Lawrence is always on top, doesn’t it? Congratulations to her and to “The Hunger Games” franchise for shattering records! You can read about these accolades when the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records is released Sept. 11. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” will be in theaters Nov. 21, just in time for Thanksgiving and the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. “Mockingjay” will feature Katniss and the Panem rebels vying to take over leadership from President Snow and save the country from heinous government practices for good.

“The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.”
