What began as an adventure of a lifetime for three young girls quickly turned into a nightmare, as shown in the official trailer, poster and stills for the upcoming horror film, ‘Pernicious.’ The thriller’s assets, along with the announcement of its release date, have been unveiled by its distributor, Benetone Films.
The horror thriller will be released nationwide on June 19 in theaters and On Demand. James Cullen Bressack, who previously wrote and directed such horror films as ’13/13/13′ and ‘To Jennifer,’ helmed ‘Pernicious,’ which he also co-wrote with Taryn Hillin.
Starring the Emmy-nominated Emily O’Brien (‘Young and the Restless’), Ciara Hanna (‘Power Rangers’) and Jackie Moore (‘100 Ghost Street’), Bressack’s latest horror thriller tells the story of three young girls who are vacationing in Thailand. But the trio’s exciting adventure quickly becomes dangerous when they unleash the spirit of a murdered child with only one thing on her mind-revenge.
