Soul singer Jackie Wilson died at age 49 in 1984, but that won’t stop him from performing at a theater near you. Hologram USA, the company that brought Whitney Houston, Redd Foxx, and Dean Martin back to life, will take Jackie Wilson on tour in 2017, in a partnership with Plateau Music Nashville CEO Tony Mantor, FilmOn TV, and the Wilson family.

Hologram USA CEO Alki David said, “Everything you expect from an exciting ‘rock star’ stage show was invented by Jackie Wilson: the leaps, spins and back-flips, not to mention his amazing four-octave range.” As reported by Billboard.com. The shows will broadcast on FilmOn.com as well.

Jackie Wilson got the nicknamed “Mr. Excitement,” so it stands to reason that this new tour will also be exciting, to say the least.
