Fox Searchlight just released the final, red-band trailer for the upcoming film THE SHAPE OF WATER from director Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth) starring Doug Jones (Star Trek: Discovery), Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film is being positioned as an Oscar contender, recently winning best picture at Venice Film Festival.
From the master story teller, Guillermo del Toro, comes THE SHAPE OF WATER – an other-wordly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
Guillermo del Toro’s THE SHAPE OF WATER hits theaters everywhere on December 8th, 2017.
