In this episode, an attractive woman is found dead in her home. Initially, it is cast aside as a suicide case. Inspector Morse and the woman had belonged to the same choir group and a lovely friendship had blossomed. When Morse took over the case, he realised it is not suicide and had to be a murder. Former employers, brothers and close family all become suspects and Morse starts his investigative hunt. Lewis supports Morse and they form an exceptional team.
