Michael C. Hall, who is most recognized for playing the serial killer title character on the hit Showtime show ‘Dexter,’ has fully recovered from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. His wife and co-star, Jennifer Carpenter, broke the news on April 23 when she confirmed it to Associated Press (AP).
Carpenter also said that her husband has been “incredibly brave” since he publicly announced in January that he had a treatable form of the disease and was in remission. He recovered at a health care facility near Los Angeles. Hall was kept busy after the announcement, having a busy awards season. He received a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award for his performance in the critically acclaimed series.
Hall has returned to work on his current movie, ‘East Fifth Bliss,’ which co-stars Lucy Liu, Carpenter also said. He will resume shooting the fifth season of ‘Dexter’ this summer, which will premiere in the fall.
