Paris Hilton is reportedly playing up her recent drug-related arrests in an effort to steal the spotlight back from fellow Hollywood partier and former friend Lindsay Lohan, Popeater.com reported on September 4. People are now talking about Hilton again for the first time in about a year, leading some to speculate that her recent cocaine arrest in Las Vegas wasn’t an accident, in an effort to make headlines again.

However, Popeater is also reporting that while Hilton is enjoying the spotlight again, and is happy people are talking about her, instead of Lohan or fellow socialite Kim Kardashian, it wasn’t a publicity stunt. While Hilton is desperate for attention, she is to lazy to go through with such a plan, the website added.

While she loves publicity, even if its negative press, HIlton wouldn’t give up a night of partying to devise such a plot, the website is also reporting.  “(Paris) is happy to be part of press stunts after she wakes up, but to ask her to work on getting herself back in the press when she would rather be playing is something she wouldn’t even consider.”
