Quentin Tarantino is bringing his unusual flair for drama to the court room, as he is claiming his next door neighbor’s exotic birds are preventing him from penning scripts, www.tmz.com is reporting. The writer-director has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, saying his neighbor, ‘True Blood’ creator Alan Ball, has so many birds that emit “blood-curdling screams” that he can’t concentrate on his work.
The ‘Kill Bill’ director is also saying that he personally tried to resolve the matter with Ball, who’s also known for winning an Academy Award for writing ‘American Beauty.’ However, Tarantino also claims that Ball doesn’t want to take down what the ‘Pulp Fiction’ director describes as an “exotic bird menagerie.” As a result, he’s had to constantly listen to what he describes as the bird’s “obnoxious pteradactyl-like screams.”
Tarantino is hoping that since he was unable to convince Ball to silence his birds that a judge will. He added in his lawsuit that he wants to be able to work as a writer in his home again.
