Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles, know to fans as Dean on the show, is expecting his first child with his wife and actress Danneel Harris (Retired at 35). Ackles’ rep released the news that Harris is due to give birth later this year. Ackles and Harris married back in 2010 in Dallas, Texas. The big news comes just in time as Jensen and Danneel are scheduled to appear this coming Wednesday (Jan. 9) at the People’s Choice Awards. The 34-year-old Ackles and his Supernatural co-star, Jared Padalecki, have both been nominated in several categories. Jensen is also expected to present at the awards event as well.
Tweeting her appreciation on Jan. 7th, Danneel replied to fans, “Thank you for all the well wishes. We are very excited about our soon to be new addition.” Ackles is the latest star on the set of Supernatural to be expecting. Last year Padalecki and his wife Genevieve Cortese, who played the demon Ruby on the series, welcomed their son, Thomas Colton. All new episodes of the hit CW series will return Wednesday, January 16 at 9pm.
