Catherine Zeta-Jones was spotted in public for the first time since leaving a mental health facility yesterday, TMZ is reporting. The Academy Award-winning actress was seen driving in New York, after undergoing health treatments for her bipolar disorder. Zeta-Jones entered the treatment facility last month. She previously sought treatment for her disorder in 2011. The ‘Side Effects‘ actress’ husband, Michael Douglas, spoke to ‘Extra‘ host AJ Calloway on Tuesday at the Cannes Film Festival. Ashley Tisdale has told police that she fears her obsessed stalker will go through with his threat of shooting her and her boyfriend, TMZ is reporting. The ‘Scary Movie 5′ actress was recently granted a temporary restraining order against Nicholas Fiore, the fan who allegedly has sent her more than 18,000 tweets since last year. In her request for the order, which she filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Tisdale said Fiore is delusional. Melissa McCarthy fired an extra from her new comedy, ‘Tammy,’ for mistreating her own child on the set, TMZ is reporting. The actress, who also co-wrote and is directing the film with her husband, Ben Falcone, fired the extra on Monday from the Wilmington, North Carolina set. The extra is a woman in her 20s, who brought her child, who is approximately 4 or 5-years-old, for the daylong shoot by a lake. Witnesses said the mother, who was receiving the standard $58 paycheck for being an extra for the day, had been struggling with her child all morning. Lindsay Lohan has been sued by D.N.AM. Apparel Industries for $5 million, due to her highly-publicized drug problems, TMZ is reporting. The clothing manufacturer filed the counter lawsuit against the ‘Scary Movie 5′ actress today, in response to her lawsuit against the company. In her lawsuit, Lohan said she entered a business deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009, and allowed them to manufacture clothes for her 6126 clothing line. But she stated they failed to pay her properly for a licensing fee, and she’s seeking $1.1 million in damages. Edward Furlong was arrested again last night after he ignored a restraining order and got into a verbal altercation with his ex-girlfriend, TMZ is reporting. After she called police and told officials he was at her West Hollywood home, they arrived to find the ‘Terminator 2′ star hiding under a stairwell near her residence. The 35-year-old Furlong was eventually taken into custody for violating the restraining order, which is a felony. The restraining order was issued against him after he was arrested twice for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Reese Witherspoon pled no contest, while her husband, Jim Toth, pled guilty, in Atlanta yesterday to charges stemming from his DUI arrest last month, TMZ is reporting. The Academy Award-winning actress was also arrested on April 19 after disobeying a police officer’s order to stay in the car after Toth was pulled over. Witherspoon also asked the police officer if he knew her name, and told him he was going to be on national news. Witherspoon wasn’t present in court yesterday, but was represented by her lawyer, Bruce Morris. He entered the plea to physical obstruction of another, and she will pay a $213 fine. The Academy Award-winning actress checked into the center yesterday, and is expected to complete a 30-day program. Actress Annette Funicello, who rose to fame as a child performer on the original ‘Mickey Mouse Club,’ died yesterday at the age of 70. The family of the star, who was also known for appearing in beach films with Frankie Avalon, confirmed to ‘Extra‘ that she died from complications of multiple sclerosis. Her family was by her side at a Bakersfield hospital when she was taken off life support. She had been in an MS coma for years. Jon Stewart is set to take a hiatus from ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’ beginning in June, so that he can direct and produce his first feature film, ‘Rosewater.’ The film will be produced through his production company, Busboy Productions, along with Scott Rudin Productions and Odd Lot Entertainment.
