The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Canada-based Legacy Filmworks, production-finance group Bron Management and comic-book publisher and transmedia outfit Arcana Studios have teamed to produce a slate of five films based on Arcana’s comic titles, the first being the science-fiction crime thriller “Paradox”. “Paradox” will star Kevin Sorbo, best known for his role in the 90′s “Hercules” TV series, and be directed by Brenton Spencer. Sorbo will a homicide cop on a parallel magic-oriented Earth, who ends up investigating a series of murders committed by a previously unseen power, that of science.
