“The Chronicles of Riddick,” made in 2004, was a box-office failure, but somehow, the want for a sequel was there, at least for Vin Diesel, who played the title character. However for the people that were hoping for a sequel, that hope has all but dashed at the news released by TMZ Saturday. The site reported that the sequel for “Riddick” has been shut down momentarily due to money issues. Those issues come from Diesel’s production company, One Race Films.
